The beauty of music, in and out of worship, is that it brings us into the presence of God. Music enables us to celebrate our lives, our journey in our Christian faith, and even our sorrows.
Under the leadership of Aaron Moore, our Director of Music, Grace Community Church is alive with joyful songs of the Lord.
Total Praise Ensemble
This exciting ensemble leads praise and worship at our 9:15 a.m. contemporary service. Total Praise sings music that ministers to the hearts of every one who attends this worship service. If you are interested in joining this group, we meet on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Membership in The Total Praise Ensemble is by audition. Interested individuals should contact Aaron Moore for more information.
Westminster Choir
The Westminster Choir leads the congregation in worship at the 11:00 a.m. service. Frequently, outstanding instrumentalists from the major symphonies in the South Florida area join the choir for major musical events, including concerts at Christmas and Easter. The Westminster Choir meets on Thursday evenings from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Membership is open to anyone interested in joining. Interested individuals should contact Aaron Moore for more information.
Faith Friends Children's Choir
Faith Friends Choir, our children's choir, is for children in Kindergarten - 6th grades. We meet for music and fun each Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. New season begins August 19th. We sing once a month at both services, and practice and perform musicals during Christmas and Easter. For more information call the church office at 561-395-2811.
PrayZ Youth Choir PrayZ, our "cutting edge" Youth Choir, is a great way for teens to celebrate God. This group is led by Ashley Mead, and meets on Sundays from 5:30-6:30 p.m. All youth in grades 7-12 are welcome. For more information call the church office at 561-395-2811
Celebration Ringers and Revelation Ringers
Our Celebration Ringers handbell ringing group plays frequently at our 11:00 a.m. worship, and is often involved in our special concert events. Rehearsals are alternate Mondays at 7:00 p.m., and are held in the bell room next to the El Rio Room. If you are interested in joining the hand bell choir, or just curious and want to "check it out," we would love to have you come. The Revelation Ringers meet on the alternate Mondays. Anyone may join, but knowledge of music is helpful. Please contact LaRonda Denkler, or call the church office at 561-395-2811, for more information.
