Habitat for Humanity of South Palm Beach County is looking for a full-time exempt level Volunteer Coordinator. Please refer to the job description below my signature for pertinent information.

The position is a hands-on volunteer recruitment position. The job hours are flexible and will include some nights and weekends. The typical work week will be Tuesday -Saturday 8:00am to 4pm with adjustments being made based on evening meeting schedules.

Starting salary range is $32,000 - 40,000 depending on experience.
Office location is 181 SE 5th Avenue, Delray Beach, FL.
Our Service area is Hypoluxo Road to the Broward County line.

General Description:
The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the volunteer program. This includes the recruitment, processing, education, retention and coordination of all Habitat volunteers, including construction, committee, and office volunteers. The Volunteer Coordinator works closely with the Development Director and Construction Manager, as well as Habitat’s home sponsors to coordinate construction volunteers, special events, roof raisings and home dedications. The Volunteer Coordinator is also the AmeriCorps program manager and performs the hiring, orientation, appreciation, reporting and other tasks for each year’s AmeriCorps team. The position works closely with all staff members and volunteers to create a positive and productive atmosphere for volunteers.
